June 5, 2021 - Unfortunately, this bottle has not aged well. Slightly pre-moxed, but drinkable. There is still that nice acid core and some citrus, but missing the spark I have found in aged cour-cheverny in the past. Not sure if there is bottle variation here, but I would have expected better given how nice my last bottle of this was in 2014.

April 5, 2014 - Searing acid, fresh yellow fruits, lemon zest. Very Chenin-like to me but I realize romo is more closely related to Chardonnay. Worked great with pan-seared halibut. This will keep very well and has not changed at all since the first btl I had in 2010.

September 29, 2013 - Lots of lemon, lots of mineral - chablis or even muscadet like, slightly oxidized character as well. Drinking better than a couple years ago, but not sure how much is to be gained from further patience.

April 14, 2013 - Had with spicy indian food. lemons with minerals. medium body. medium finish. Too lemony for saucy Indian dishes, but went well with the spices.

August 1, 2010 - Fun and interesting. nose of rainwater, with lemon rind. taste of eating lemons in the attic. Fun. Hope I can hold my last one.

July 21, 2010 - nat cork. honestly thought it was flawed - nose muted, bit musty on palate, bit acrid finish. But assured it was not. Only after several days open did it emerge and begin to appeal. nose still subtle - faint yellow flowers, hint chalky minerality, tinge of citrus. Fairly full body, quite dry, bit tart, unripe plums, lengthy finish. Citrusy. An interesting wine, takes patience and certainly isnt in your face. Also suspect this would benefit from some age. Hold em.

May 2, 2010 - drank too young, needs 3+ years. Similar to a marsanne in weight, but some oily characterists of a Reisling. mid-lightweight.
