April 5, 2022 - Another bottle found in my cellar which overperformed.
Would have been better 5-10 years ago, but still a lot of life left. The bouquet has spices and some typical pure cassis notes I find so often in chilean CabSauv‘s besides the teriary elements.
If you stumble across a bottle, drink up.

December 7, 2008 - a good solid carmenere-- has a unique earthy taste (and smell) that was very distinct. Not everyone was a fan of it, but it has a niche market

August 27, 2006 - The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Niche Restaurant, Geneva, Illinois): Taken to August Blind Drunks tasting and served blind. This immediately stood out as South American, and was easily recognizable as my bottle. Mint and eucalyptus, all the way through. The group was split in half as far as liking this wine versus thinking it overmanipulated plonk.

January 15, 2006 - Very fruity, but not excessively jammy. Quite alcoholic. Medium-short finish and that's about the size of it.
