  May 28, 2018 - Last bottle, which I'd planned on drinking a year or two ago, but here we are, and it's better than I'd expected actually. Interestingly, while it's not seeming tired or over the hill, it doesn't seem to have gained a lot of complexity either.
  
  Medium (+) brickish garnet color. Aromas of dark and dark red fruits, eucalyptus, smoke, tobacco, cedar, a bit of damp earth and musty cellar, possible light cork taint, but I'm honestly only noticing this on my last (evaluative) glass, and it's not a detractor for me; nothing off on the palate. Medium body, acid, and finish, with decidedly more of a red fruited palate, led by cherry for days, a bit of tobacco, lemon, and orange. Worked expectedly, but nonetheless enjoyably, with homemade BBQ ribs and mashed sweet potatoes.

  January 9, 2016 - Thought the last one was my last bottle of this but found another. Starting to show its age a bit. Solid with food but finish is short.

  August 19, 2015 - Looks like I'm hitting these every two years, though not intentionally. Coloring is deepish garnet now with moderate bricking. Showing aged characteristics on the nose with dried dark and dark red fruits, leather, soil, and subtle floral. Medium body, medium+ acid and finish, and flavors of a mix of fresh and dried blue, black, and dark red fruits, a bit of dried leaf earthiness, and dried spices. Worked well (again) with bbq ribs. Generally I'd say drink up, but I like 'em old, and for experimentation's sake, I will drink my last in another year or two.

  August 23, 2014 - This wine is drinking really well. Again, the community timeline seems off...its still really nice. My last bottle was an 88, bit im now at 90. Really enjoyable.
