March 7, 2024 - Voge and Friends (Llewelyn's): Double decanted in the afternoon, threw off a great deal of sediment. This is just in the zone now - easy to get on with but not *too* easy to get on with. Lovely nose, autumn earth, the leaves are starting to decay. Dark fruits. Lovely mouthfeel. No rush to drink these I don't think but really in the zone just now. The table's and my WOTN.

March 6, 2024 - Voge & Friends (Llewelyn's Herne Hill, London): Really good stuff. This is rich, long and has plenty in the tank for the years ahead. Smoky, peppery with a twist of hoisin umami. Chapeau.

March 6, 2024 - Cornas, Voge and Friends (Llewelyn's, Herne Hill): This is just super wine, rich dark fruit with a sweet and easy-going nature, drinking really well from a magnum. Great stuff. It's got that unami feel to it, a tang of seaweed and some black olive to go with the meat and soil tones, but also some red fruit making itself known. This is second bottle of 2007 Nothern Rhone I've had in a week and both have been singing - clearly this is a good time to be tucking into them. En mag this will probably sail on for a while yet. My #2 WOTN.
