March 8, 2014 - Not too bad, although not a 77 (learn how to score please!) and not a 91 (at least to my palate) its a decent QPR wine. The nose took about 30 min to open up, then you had some earthiness, oak and fruit. On the palate, you got strong forward fruit - plum and dark berry, with somewhat of a tart finish. Overall reasonable, however I would pair it with food to help mute it a bit, as a stand alone drinker its not the best.
February 1, 2013 - nice drinkability malbec bold
December 18, 2012 - The aroma is oak and berries and a little bit of alcohol. The taste is tart cherries with a hint of vanilla and blackberries.
August 5, 2012 - Good, solid, cheap malbec for the price. Dark, rich fruit. Plum and some blackberry with hints of chocolate and cigar. Earthy and the 2008 was more dense than expected.
June 21, 2012 - Remember it as a KL best seller, but it either didn't hold up to expectations or in the cellar. Wouldn't buy again.
March 22, 2012 - I've been away from Malbecs for a while and was afraid this might be too far gone to really enjoy, but happily it's still very drinkable, though not remarkable.
Dark fruits, short finish.
November 22, 2011 - Had enjoyed this malbec in earlier vintages. Now, I'm either expecting better, or my tastes have evolved. Dark berries, black cherry, but really none of the black pepper I like an Argentinian malbec to have. Very drinkable, just nothing special.
March 18, 2011 - Dark fruit nose... Not to much happening. Ok... Nothing special
March 4, 2011 - Quite complex and enjoyable for the price.
February 16, 2011 - Dark wine, short finish. Acidic.
