June 1, 2018 - At Abruzzi. Decanted for over an hour. extremely powerful nose, beautiful texture, cassis, cherry, leather. very smooth on the finish that lasted for an eternity. Had it with beef carpaccio. made the meal and the wine, what a brilliant pairing

March 2, 2018 - Modern barolo, lots of dark fruit, strong backbone, big tannins and a juicy wonderful finish. This will age a long time. Keep the rest of the bottles in the cellar
