    December 31, 2015 - Overraskende god og fortsat levedygtig vin, der stod perfekt til coq au vin. Fin rubyred i farven og med flotte orange kanter. Decanter og lad den stå 15 min., så de værste sherrynoter er væk. I næsen lidt solbær og kirsebær, men mest skovbund, muld, champignon, hø og en anelse tobak. I munden vinder vinen yderligere. Fortsat en mellemfyldig vin, der bare hænger ved. Fin balance og bløde tanniner. Gad vide, hvor voldsomme de har været tidligere? I smagen har jeg noteret kirsebær, solbær, skovbund, muld, blyant og støv.

    October 17, 2015 - This bottle was still in excellent shape, medium garnet color in the glass even to the rim. Cassis, some dust, and nicely aged tobacco in the mouth, though a bit hollow in the mid-palate. Tannins lurking. Dust gone as bottle opened up. This was especially good with spaghetti with a heavy, sweet meat sauce.

    Medium-bodied with decent acidity and available tannins.

    November 27, 2011 - Fortsatt ung og frisk rød på farge. Tunge røde frukter, kirsebær, kjeller, matjord og lær på duft. Dessverre er smaken en nedtur. Flat og vannaktig, vinøs, kjedelig frukt.

    August 10, 2010 - Holding up remarkably well. Little bricking on the color, taste remains subtle, with forest floor and mushroom present. Hint of violet as well? No "dust" this time. So different from a modern fruit bomb!

    November 7, 2009 - Korken delte seg i to ved åpning. Dyp mursteinsrød. Utviklet duft av tørket frukt og stall. Hint av tobakk? Middels fyldig vin med moderat syre og runde, men markante tanniner. Lang og lett sødmefull ettersmak. Nydelig!

    August 8, 2009 - Moist earth, mushrooms, and forest floor on the nose at opening. Flavor of leather, wood with a very soft, smooth mouth feel. Classic Pessac "dust" on the finish. Lost the forest flavor after awhile. Interesting and enjoyable.
