February 27, 2013 - Acidic black cherry, whiskey barrel, lightly spiced and medium bodied.
Drinking well but perhaps a bit over the hill. -

November 4, 2012 - Medium bodied, moderate fruit, very acidic. Not bad, but have enjoyed other Barbera's better.

October 21, 2012 - Juicy blue fruits on the nose. Fruit compote. Palate is more serious than many Barbera d'Alba that I've had. Palate coating and reasonably intense. A touch of wet clay. Hint of pepper. A savory almost sanguine side to the fruit. Loads of plum and plum skin.

March 17, 2012 - Such an easy drinking wine. Quaffable, with a wonderful acidity that pairs well with good food and good company. Nothing deeply profound here, just a great drink.
