    April 9, 2005 - When consumed without food or other palate enhancers, little (if any) fruit or finish was present. Taken with meat (lamb, steak) and aerated for roughly 30 minutes, the wine showed some fruit but still no finish. Recommendation: aerate for at least 2-5 hours prior to drinking and pair with food.

    February 18, 2005 - The nose had hints of leather (the quintessential 'new car' scent), with a strong finish after the first 15 minutes of opening. The finish lessened with time, but the flavor became enhanced. Not as good as the tasting 2 years ago, but still a decent bottle.

    November 7, 1998 - CT Group does Bordeaux vs Cal Cabs @ Jeff S: No nose. A bit thin on the palate. Lean fruit. Smooth, easygoing wine, but nothing exciting.
