November 5, 2012 - Not bad! This one we bought at Bellavino and tasted good and jammy, but not a fruit bomb. Everyone enjoyed it.

June 11, 2012 - PnP through Nuance Wine Finer. 2 years later, not much change from the prior bottle. A little jammy, but not too much. Some menthol and raising. Perhaps slightly more balance. 89pts. Aloha!

September 4, 2011 - Found this to be much better the second night after vac sealed. Really nice mouthfeel of black berries and spice harmony.

October 17, 2010 - Bought one at the Bevmo 5 cent sale, because we had one already. Hope this one that we have put away is better than the one we just drank. Very muddy and flat tasting.

September 6, 2010 - Labor Day BBQ/Zinfest with six friends. Finished up the night's four Zins with this, as one that seemed versatile enough to go with dessert (Carol's peach pie and ice cream) without either disappearing or overwhelming. Earlier impressions confirmed, a terrific medium+ bodied zin.

August 19, 2010 - Wow, excellent zin! Bought an assortment of Wine Guerrilla zins at my local wine shop, the Corkscrew, in summer 2009. I had been a little disappointed by the Sonoma County bottles, which is their lower-priced bottling. But this was really terrific! Inky purple-black in color, nose of some green herb and warm toasted spice (coriander?), black cherry and even a little mineral element. Palate was similar, with a persistent warm finish, not tannic but assertive in its own way. Glad I have one more bottle of this!

August 3, 2010 - Pop and pour through Nuance Wine Finer. Dark ruby/almost purple. Aromatic nose of dark fruit, spice, and a menthol/fruity cough drop too. On the palate, peppery and jammy, a little earth and dark berries, but not a fruit bomb. After reading other notes, I can see the raisins too. In my limited tastings, I've generally associated zins with fruit bombs, but this is a nice, well balanced zin. Still a bit in your face with the spice and all, but a very nice wine. Will drink again. Aloha!

July 20, 2010 - Last bottle of this. Round and ripe from a great vintage. Nicely done.

June 4, 2010 - A touch middling, very ripe, I believe it has RS too. Works at $15.
