October 10, 2020 - The Last Dance Magnum Dinner (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Magnum. I haven't tasted this since shortly after release, and tonight it was incredibly impressive. While this is unquestionably rich and ripe, the fruit remains bright and fresh, and crunchy textures provide even further textural support. Very good now.

September 1, 2018 - Found a bottle in my cellar last night I forgot I had. It was singing. Not over the hill at all.

December 13, 2017 - Delicious. This bottle was not past it's prime. A well balanced, aged chardonnay with layers of flavor.

December 25, 2016 - Rich spicy tropical nose. Some acid and lift on the palate. Better than the 07 Lauren, but needs to be drunk up.

October 19, 2016 - Have not had an Aubert in awhile as stopped buying. This bottle was singing. Solid acidity, secondary flavors providing nice complexity and good length.

August 14, 2015 - Just beautiful! Still has the slight green tint color. Explosive flavors while still having balance and no edge.

November 18, 2014 - CITRUS FRUIT, OAK, VANILLA, AND SOME FLORAL NOTES IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR. NICE COMPLEXITY AND A MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH. ELEGANT CHARDONNAY.

October 24, 2014 - Color was darker than I would have expected. Alcohol was very prominent, which is not surprising for a wine listed at 15.6%. Didn't seem flawed; but like the other 2007's I've had (Lauren & Ritchie) a disappointment.
