October 21, 2010 - Still drinking great. Needs at least 45 minute decant. Definitely put on some weight since it has been in the cellar. Great QPR @ $12.

September 13, 2010 - I was really nervous went I first poured this into the decanter - it was really thin and the fruit was all but absent. An hour later, this started to gain weight and come to life. The first few glasses were the best - the fruit was prominent and the tannins were nicely balanced. However, the last glass (about 2.5 hours later) was a little disjointed, leaving me to believe that there is not much life left in it. Drink up now if you still have some.

January 14, 2010 - The last of my bottles ... If you're at the tasting room, you'll pay quite a bit for this merlot and for the money, there are many others out there that would be a better bargain. It pours lighter in color and it's lighter in body and taste ... it's thin. Not complex, but a decent wine with burgers ... as long as you didn't pay full price.

January 12, 2010 - Jammy, with vanilla from the oak taking a front seat. Dried fruit, low acid, easy to like, and just as easy to forget.
I tried this not long after release and thought it needed some time.
Well, it's had all the time it can use. Drink up and enjoy!
