November 28, 2020 - quite oxidized. I've had chave blancs ten years older than this that are brighter and nervier. This has moved solidly into sherry/caramel land. unf. i have 4 more.

June 15, 2020 - Extraordinaire nez fleuri et profond. Attaque sur le miel. Quelle amplitude en bouche!! Splendide

June 6, 2020 - Initially, this was not impressive, but it really came on. Ultimately, it became a lovely, elegant wine. But it still was not the greatest example of this wine that I have had. A 2011 Beaucastel Chateauneuf Blanc Rousanne V.V. took first place that night.

May 23, 2020 - 2nd of 3 bottles. First bottle was ridiculously delicious. Drank 2nd bottle a few months ago. On opening, the taste was bizarre, kind of like a turpentine type of a situation ... tasted nothing like wine at all. It became drinkable after about 4 hours in the decanter, but was a completely different experience than the first bottle. Guess there was something off with that bottle, or maybe in some weird dumb phase.
