February 19, 2013 - Bottle had a very bad side note i the bouquet. The taste wasn't as bad as the smell suggested, but never the less I deem it undrinkable. The cork was fine, and a bit of sediment in the bottle and the bottle has been stored in my own cellar since young, so probably this is just way over the top and going down fast. I have two bottles more of this in my cellar and they will tell if this is a single bottle flaw or if the wine has passed away.

December 31, 2005 - Fairly dark colour with no real ageing. Pretty closed to start - took abour 2 hours to start opening out. Easy drinking and simple. Nicely balanced, and didn't get much of the 2003 heat from it. Decent quaffer, but not much more.

February 12, 2005 - Rather closed nose with a hint of strawberries, violets and liquorice. The palate is much nicer, with sweetish jammy fruit, a nice acidity, and a hint of kirsch. Somewhat one dimensional, but nice to drink in the near term.
