February 12, 2020 - Wow I loved this - probably my WOTN. From the nose to the palate to the finish just lovely. Even the Somm was surprised given the difficult vintage how nice this was drinking. The nose was very fragrant with spice and smoke. Dark red fruit and lots of herbal notes across the palate - silky long finish. Delicious!

February 12, 2020 - Celebrating 60 (The NoMad): Love love love this wine. It's got this more herbal and almost slightly green note which I suspect comes from the full cluster. Fruit in the background. Lovely brightness. A wine that just really stands out to me. So unique and so delicious at the same time.

May 1, 2019 - Quite a smoky nose, with notes of tar, wild herbs, Indian spice and some game too. It doesn't have a huge amount of flesh but is an engaging wine of meaty nuance and herbal freshness. It worked well with an array of savoury foods with some mild spice.
