March 30, 2011 - This was big and rich on the nose but kept in check with earthy notes followed by apricot and stone. On the palate, it was full-bodied and showed some of the oak on the finish.

March 24, 2009 - Seems like this one is trying to be a CA Chard, but fails.

March 12, 2009 - Light pear aromas, with simple pear and apple flavors. Soft, sweet oak aftertaste. Good enough, but not great QPR given the price.

February 7, 2009 - starts off well but there's no hiding the overly sweet, totally chemical aromas and flavors that dominate this wine. it's so sad too, because it seems as though the underlying material is quality. why not just take it easy with all the "wine making" and just let the grapes do their thing?

this comes off as that dish in a fancy restaurant that clearly has had 34 people handle it before it makes it to the table.
