Surprised by the youthfulness and freshness. This still has a lot more evolution ahead.
Still, excellent toasty citrus and apples on the nose, big round citrus fruit and mineral palate. Really nice champagne but will get better. -

August 22, 2023 - Such a delightful, fully mature, wonderfully perfumed bottle! I have never tended toward this producer and found this special bottle so enjoyable with food, and also on its own. A full melange of flavors with a creamy undertone, displaying well-aged brioche, toast, lemon peel, with a hint of Caramell, a hint of grass, and overall just full palate finish. Not quite as complex as the very, very best, but a hit with a knowledgeable crowd.

August 1, 2023 - From an impeccable MAG. Very grand brioche nose with lemon zest and white flowers. Racy palate, long finish. Pleased the larger lunch group and connoisseurs alike. Best showing of a PJBE to date.
