February 12, 2012 - This has continued to improve in the bottle. It is chalk full of flavor. Wonderful candied nose upon opening. A nice Malbec profile on the palate. Rich, with a hint of sugar, and a nice long complexity. Still has big tannins. This will age well for another 10 years. I would even wait another 4-5 before opening. Wonderfully rich now. Even better with a little time. A great example of new world Malbec.

November 16, 2010 - Decanted to give it some air. Really benefits from about 3 hours in the decanter. Initially the nose was pretty closed with a hint of white pepper. Became significantly more earthy and spicy later in the evening. Lots of black fruit flavors on the palate. Very nice mouthfeel which provided some structure. Finish was sweet and medium short in length. Overall a very pleasing wine. Has a long life ahead. Would purchase again.

July 26, 2010 - What a great Malbec! Dark garnet with a cherry hue. Blackberry & herbs on the nose. Black and cherry cola fruit upfront with nice cedar, black & green pepper notes in the medium long finish.

May 30, 2010 - Wow!! What a surprise. I had low expectations, and this was a fantastic Malbec. Really great flavor profile. Great nose. Very well made. Yummy, yummy stuff for the end of the evening around the fire.
