  June 25, 2012 - Deep burgundy color. Nose of dark red fruits, cola, smoke, black pepper, and soil--nice nose, actually. Rather thin at first, but seemed to gain a bit of weight with air. Medium bodied with flavors of black cherry, red apple, and cranberry. Not much to the mid-palate and short finish, as well as light on complexity (no real secondary flavors). Ok quaffer, but I'd generally rather pay $5 or $10 more for better quality--serviceable in a pinch though (supermarket purchase, for example).

  September 22, 2010 - Color: Ruby Nose: Not a huge nose, but strawberry and cranberry. On the palate: Nice, smooth, pretty decent expression of the varietal considering the price point and that it's Pinot. Midpalate is some pepper, almost no noticeable oak treatment, and really just muted fruit. Simplistic. The finish is very soft minimal tannins and red fruit. Not outstanding, but doesn't offend either. Not a great QPR but about what one could expect for the price.
