June 21, 2011 - attacks the nose with attractive berries, mint and herbs, overall earthy palate, fresh, bright acidity, shows guts and substance without being over-bearing, gamey, rustic, had with a meatloaf which was good but given the flavor and the nuances, this would be a perfect match with any type of lamb serving, solid value

June 13, 2011 - Though tannin structure was a bit thin, the acidity was bright and lifted the plum and raspberry fruit nicely. There was also some darkness to the flavors with minerals, moist earth and mild cocoa. All in all, a pretty modest vintage from this chateau, but great value and low alcohol!

December 10, 2010 - Decanted 3 hours. Smells and tastes like an over oaked Bordeaux. But for $10 that isn't bad. Light and short finish, some cherries, forest and a lot of wood. I wouldn't buy again.

June 20, 2010 - decanted 30 minutes. Quite rustic, with terroir notes rising above the fruit, both on the nose and palate. A nice country wine, meant for a simple meal. At approx $13, it's a fair deal, at best. Drink thru 2012
