September 18, 2017 - Still going OK, decent acidity, showing some traces of oxidation - drink em if you've got 'em.

As in the tasting note below, bottom half inch of cork broke off - was very soft.

April 15, 2017 - Cork broke in half, rest disintegrated so decanted. A clear golden yellow robe with thinned edges, the unusual (for CA) nose features powerful Meyer lemon, lime, toast and smoke. Full-bodied with superb intensity and medium+ concentration, high acid plus oxidation yields a "tangy" character, with minerality aplenty. Long, long finish. Reminds me of some Ceritas chardonnay we've had, along with some whites from Arnot-Roberts that we thought also flashed a Burgundian character. 92-94

January 19, 2017 - This is a fang-tastic bottle! Looks and smells like Meursault, and carries that weight and depth of flavor, with yellow flowers and tropical fruit, a dusting of pepper, and a nutty and creamy mineral body. There is a mild oxidativeness to this, which puts some people off, but it is appropriate to its age and does not put any damper on the fruit quality. This at least as good if not a bit better on the second night. A tablespoon sip of this has a finish well over a minute long. My first bottle was excellent, this one stunning. No qualms with a Parker 94; this bottle's even better. 94-95. Second best QPR I've had in the past year.

August 15, 2016 - Here goes another one of their 1800 bottles. Nice touch with the wax top on the end of the slick and slim cork. P&P, Vibrant yellow colour, notes of toast and smoke, would have benefited from a few hours of decanting, medium bodied with white pepper taste lingering, drinking window is closing fast, hurry up.

April 12, 2016 - Some nice pear and tropical fruit tastes, but flat and lacking freshness. The bottle we drank last year was better, so likely past it prime. But still enjoyed it.

October 31, 2014 - Complex toasty chardonnay fruit with mineral and sharp acidity. Can certainly age even more.

June 15, 2014 - Fang still getting better (though not all agree). Pears, apples, tropics and minerals combine in a fantastic, round body.
