October 23, 2016 - This bottle was very enjoyable, with very nice fruit on the nose and palate still holding up well. These are varying a lot bottle to bottle though, as it was a vast improvement over an identical bottle purchased at the same time and opened just before, which was no fruit and all past prime secondary notes. Open it now and hope for the best!
November 18, 2011 - Big disappointment. Another casualty of a faulty wine fridge. Not the winery's fault. This puppy was cooked in a big way.
November 29, 2010 - Club selection Spicy nose, slightly acidic. Give it an hour to breathe and it's a 90.
August 15, 2010 - Not great, not bad. Unimpressive nose and just a little bit too peppery and diluted on the palate. Having said that, it's better with food than alone. No real finish to speak of, but a decent bottle to pop and pour at anytime.
January 30, 2010 - Solid Syrah, berries, cola, a little white pepper. Enjoyed.
December 12, 2009 - Castana night with Matt and Cat. Gift from them. Great bottle
August 7, 2009 - Okay but rather simple Syrah. Predominant flavors are blackberry, cola and white pepper.
