June 10, 2020 - About the right degree tannic, and lovely and fruity. Wish I had more.

October 12, 2019 - Cork broke and there was significant sediment. Brownish in color. Earthy nose. Regrettably the wine was considerably past it peak. Used the next day for Barolo braised beef.

October 12, 2018 - Lighter in color than previous bottles and showing some sediment. Cherry and rose petal nose with cherry flavors. Smooth and with low tannins, this bottle was at or near prime drinking period.

September 7, 2018 - Darker in color for varietal. Floral, red fruit and leather on nose with some alcohol notes arising late. Black cherry on the palate. Approachable now, but still time as still was good on day 2.

March 24, 2018 - Slow ox'd for two hours. In the glass, it showed dark cherries, dusty tannins and a hint of raisin. But two hours in, it really blossomed: brighter cherries, violets, and leather. A very nice bottle that would have been good for another 3-4 yrs, but probably not getting better from here.
