March 8, 2019 - Ok, so this is a terrific Cab. Nice dark fruit nose. Not too sweet, great with Bryan’s American Wagyu strip.

February 28, 2019 - Corked bottle unfortunately as I was really looking forward to this bottle!

February 28, 2019 - Mostly Napa Cabernet Dinner (Eddie V's - Tysons Corner, VA): Big scale black fruit driven wine. There is a slight hint of TCA. Some think the bottle is off but not TCA tainted.

February 28, 2019 - Absolutely stunning! But not in a way you would think a Napa Cab would be. This is not an "In-your-face" Cab, but make no mistake, the power is there! It just happens to be hidden under the guise of incredibly smooth, intricate, and complex such that you don't notice the power. This wine kept changing all night, getting more complex as the night went on. Notes of blackberry, cassis, lardon, tanned leather, earth, violets, mushrooms. The list could go for pages and still would not reflect the complexity of this wine. This is one of the few '07 Napa Cabs that are still worth anything to drink. Not only that, this is one of the finest wines I have ever had.

February 9, 2019 - Very worthwhile to let it breath for an hour before consumption; historically, I've found Scarecrow to be a bit tightly wound for my taste but this bottle worked out incredibly well.
