August 21, 2019 - Last bottle, loved how this evolved. Great secondary flavors, balanced with tannins nicely integrated, and that subtle curl at the finish that says mature Napa cab. Outstanding

June 5, 2019 - A really nice aged Cabernet Sauvignon from the Conn Creek area which is an outflow from Howell Mtn. Nice cool waters in a slightly warmer microclimate make for beautiful Bordeaux varietals! Aged black cherry and a hint of truffle and worn saddle leather on the nose. Entry still has a tiny bit of acidity, but beautiful black cherry and mint and truffle which were more of the primary notes. Almost makes me think this had a hint of eucalyptus when it was closer to it's youth? I was getting more of a smoked note in the middle. The finish was still a little bit acidic, but very complex. Walnut, black cherry, Blackberry, hint of black licorice on the finish. This wine has impeccable structure, and I look forward to it continuing to drink well over the next 3 to 5 years.

April 15, 2019 - Truly enjoyed by everyone. Deep dark fruit. Long finish.

February 2, 2019 - Excellent. This is why I buy this producer year after year. Well balanced, with rich red (red cherry, cassis) and black fruits (black cherry, blackberry). 15.1% abv, which is higher than what I prefer these days but not overextracted (or over-oaked).

November 30, 2018 - Very nice. Nicely balanced, medium plus body, nice acidity in mid palate, unnoticeable or very mild tannin on a long smooth finish. Well rewarded from long cellaring. Much smoother and drinkable than a much higher priced 2013 Cab in the same evening. Not sure if it can get much better than this so drink up if you have one.
