July 15, 2023 - I purchased two bottles in 2009, and both were stored well. I drank the first at the end of 2013, and simply recall that it exceeded my expectations at year seven. I opened the second almost a decade later, and it didn't disappoint. Cork was soft but held its own. I decanted for about 90 minutes because there was an unpleasant smell that dissipated completely. Virtually no sediment, which was surprising. The plummy fruit profile was still intact, but not as pronounced as a decade ago. Acid was still there. There remains strong life in this $50 bottle from almost 18 years ago but, in my opinion, on a decline. Well done!

June 12, 2023 - Still drinking very well after a decade in my cellar. Blackberry and black raspberry flavors, tar, tobacco and spice. This wines fruitiness belies its age.
December 30, 2022 - I didn't think this wine could get any better. This was the best yet and unfortunately my last one. Everyone wanted more as this luscious wine lingered on the tongue forever.

December 1, 2022 - The last of 9 bottles. Boy was this enjoyable and for the price it is a top QPR. The wine is still fresh with blackberry and raspberry at the start and soft tannins with a sweet long finish. Some nice tobacco and cedar notes on the back end. Very delighted on how this has held up over the years.
November 26, 2022 - From a half bottle - poured blind. Tobacco, leather and cassis on the nose. Great acidity and good tannins led most to think this was much younger. A touch of graves-like earth, pure dark fruits and a great finish. This exceeded my expectations and was probably drinking at peak from a half bottle. Solid 93 points.
