January 12, 2017 - I am as impressed with The Doyenne Aix Syrah today as I was 4 years ago. Dark and powerful but, not lacking in fruit. So Cote Rotie in style. Lots of bacon fat, black and red fruit, Krishna, mineral and spice. Still in its prime.
