May 24, 2020 - Wine is drinking beautifully right now. It's got some sediments so I recommend filtering/decanting, as I did. No need to leave out for hours. Ready to drink once poured into the decanter. The tannins have softened but still plenty of structure. Nothing like experiencing a properly-aged Napa cab, as this is in that category. Nose is aromatic - cassis, blackberry, slight muskiness from volcanic soil. Texture is full-bodied and very elegant from beginning to end. Taste of chocolate, cedar, cassis. Such a well-balanced wine and not the fruit-bomb molasses that wineries tend to produce. Would buy again.

January 31, 2018 - Drinking well. Very balanced, tannins have subsided. Enjoyable but probably at peak or slightly past peak.

July 22, 2017 - This big boy drank beautifully for me over 3 nights (pumped in between). Probably best on night 2 so a good decant helps. Classic aged Napa Cab profile of dark fruit, leather, a big of tobacco, however more to the savory side vs. the fruit, which I liked quite a bit.
