January 7, 2023 - A nose of muted fruit, brick in color. A medium to full bodied Super Tuscan, with black cherry, plum, licorice on spice on finish, has held up well but drink now. www.winelx.com

June 29, 2022 - Had with skirt steak and roast potatoes. Might have been ok 5 years ago but barely passable now. Last fifth was harsh.

December 29, 2021 - Great with our pasta and tomato/sausage sauce alongside braised kale. Nice earth tones and fruits.

November 6, 2021 - Pnp. Drinking great from the get go. Opens savory and smooth. Eucalyptus, bay leaf, herbs. Gets smoother. Mushrooms come out. I wouldn't wait. Really good

January 26, 2021 - This is drinking quite well at this time. Strong cherry fruit, oak, mushroom, walnut and a bit of leather on the palate. Longish finish. Definitely could be wonderful in 2-3 years as well, but my sense is that this is the peak. Wonderful balance.

September 30, 2020 - Bottle may have been flawed but it was rather pruny.

September 5, 2020 - Tannins integrated. Fruit flavors starting to fade. Probably 3-5 years past peak. Enjoyable. No complaints.

July 29, 2020 - Was hoping for a surprise but no surprise here. Still drinking well but not rising up beyond its pedigree.
