December 27, 2008 - A bit paste its prime. Medium full intense flavors of currant, some dill and spice. Medium finish and not as smooth aas earlier bottles. Drink now.
December 4, 2007 - Drinking perfectly now. Complex and nuanced, smokey and ripe currants.
November 16, 2007 - Might be on the downswing... or just resting.
September 16, 2007 - Getting better or still very nice?
January 9, 2004 - Red Carpet: mushrooms, swt leather, plummy, med. t’s, nice dark flavors, but fin. drops off.
August 23, 2003 - 960 cases made. Alcohol 13.8%. Purchased locally at Sigels for $39.99. Opened and served immediately in Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glasses. Deep, dark garnet color in the glass. Oaky and slightly spicy nose of currants and plums. Flavors are dominated by red cherries supplemented by savory spices with a little mocha on the finish. Nicely balanced wine with soft tannins that begs to be drunk over the short term. Solid 88 point wine. Drink and enjoy over the next five years.
