October 11, 2010 - Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! Now let me explain. It's warm outside, and in our house. This kind of warmth calls for a nice, light, and bright white wine. Sometimes all of the elements come together to offer an excellent wine experience - tonight is one of those times!
This is a lovely wine that offers up aromas of fresh green apples and slightly unripe pear. Where this wine hits it out of the park is the bright acidity that provides exceptional balance. All-in-all, a super good wine that can be had for a song!

February 26, 2010 - The nose, unsurprisingly, is that of a Cava. Super clean. Hig acid. Fun white, but the price is over $15 here, not quite where I'd want it to be.
