  September 13, 2013 - Ageing very gracefully. Core of ripe sweet fruit mates well with some acidic tightness in the back palate. This has always been a fun drink and this tasting is no exception.

  April 23, 2013 - Still holding very very well for the age. Glazed fruits give a dessert-like feel albeit lacking the typical intense sweetness. Spicy fruits right throughout but might be the impact of oak. Does fade but not in a big way.

  September 16, 2012 - Mostly consistent with the ost recent tasting. Some pong (I'll put down to age) but otherwise showing enough ripe varietal fruits to keep it interesting. Definitely a glazed, baked fruit component this time around.

  April 16, 2012 - On the fade but still attractive. I've found this wine to be a bit all over the place in recent times but this one is looking ok. Ripe backbone but the front end is light. Some fat and musk but toned down from a year ago. It would seem drinking 4yrs out from vintage is about right. Still, a decent midweeker.

  October 17, 2011 - What happened here? Not a patch on a previous tasting from May. The plump fruit was not at all evident, rather some leanish minerally fruit with a little acid sear. Actually flat and almost lifeless.
