October 5, 2021 - Decanted for 3 hours, paired with grilled salmon and roasted vegetables. Still drinking well, bright notes cola and rhubarb, acidity holding up, have one more bottle, should drink before end of year, just about to be over the hill.

May 3, 2020 - PnP and left open for 4 hours. Amazingly similar to my last bottle 5 years ago. Fresh, vibrant fruit with beautifully balancing structure. Seems to be evolving slowly as the fruit was rounder/fleshy and there was some light orange/brown in the rim and earthy/dried leaf notes hinting, which was not noted last time. Drink or continue to hold.
Saw EWarren note on 99 Epenots on same night -- glad I have these village wines to drink while waiting on the 1er cru.

December 27, 2018 - Gave this a three hour decant and would not be afraid to give this a longer decant for future bottles. Bright, high toned red fruit with some earth tones and acid. This has years left. Nice Beaune wine

    April 15, 2018 - -- popped and poured --
    -- tasted non-blind over 2 – 3 hours on Day 1; brief sip on Day 3 --

NOSE: medium expressiveness; high-toned – almost a touch sour-smelling; red-fruited; old wood furniture; hint of diesel. Oxidized mess on Day 3.

BODY: lots of fine particulate matter present; blood red color of medium depth with some bricking throughout; medium-light bodied.

TASTE: fine tannin is drying; medium+ acidity; leathery and earthy; light aged red fruits – thinner than I'd prefer; bitter and earthy – almost a touch metallic; past peak; sweetened-up a bit with air; leafy aspect; gentle woodsy spice; gross, oxidized mess on Day 3. I probably would have scored this higher a few years ago. Drink Now.

March 11, 2018 - Monthly Tasting Group: Blind Pinots Worldwide (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Small taste. Had this before and it was quite a bit better. This bottle was a bit past and lacking in fruit and nuance.
