January 12, 2019 - Floral fruity nose maintains 13 years later.
Dark cherry tang with subtle pepper, currants, and well rounded soft finish.
Excellent. Not sure if this one will get any better from here. -

December 25, 2018 - Decanted. Sat open for about an hour before serving. Excellent with standing rib roast and scallop potatoes. In a very sweet spot. Great fruit and balance, smooth, nice nose, long finish.

June 18, 2017 - Not bad, but not great. Very smooth, lots of dark fruits & chocolate. Tannins integrated. Alcohol present on the finish. Not much complexity and low on acidity. Overall, too sweet of a profile for me and not impressed with the overall structure. Have one more, but I highly doubt it will improve. Drink now-2020.

February 12, 2017 - I often get a pencil-lead/graphite thing on the nose with Washington cabs (which I love), but not with this. It needed decanting and some time, but two hours later was drinking beautifully. I think this could go several more years no problem, but great now.

September 1, 2016 - - Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of tea, cedar and prune. It's balanced and has flavours of tea and molasses with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - This was worth the wait. Very smooth, good amount of fruit and very balanced.

4/12/2009 (link) ***** points(Pepper Bridge Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley) A big, powerful wine with a complex nose marked by vanilla, anise, and syrup aromas. Gripping on the palate with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Drinking exceptionally well considering its age. 87% Cabernet; 8% Merlot; 2% Malbec; 2% Cab Franc; 1% Petit Verdot.
