January 8, 2017 - superb, mature with soft, flavorful mouthfeel and fragrant bouquet. Good balance of acidity and fruit, moderate alcohol, perfect with mushroom-stuffed pork. Many years left. Outstanding.

April 11, 2016 - Very ripe and wooded on the nose. This is still tasting a bit primary, but all of the stuffing is there. Concentrated medium red fruit with a bit of earthiness girding the mid palate. Balanced, lush, and lingering on the finish. Enjoyable now if you like them youthful, but has a long life ahead.
