November 24, 2019 - Gorgeous, sappy, strawberry pinot - mellow in a way, but there's an authority there too. Lovely.

September 17, 2019 - Chevillon Survey (Brasserie Margeuax): 07 Horizontal. Very good, but behind the Chaignots in the horizontal. Forward and approachable aromas with nice spice and musk depth. Delicious and pure on the palate. Good density and complexity. Well balanced and rounded fruit.

September 17, 2019 - Chevillon study (Chicago, IL): Despite being the top vineyard of the 2007 lineup, I liked this wine the least. It was all structure and very little charm. The fruit was all hidden, and there was just a lot of acid and tannin here. Others picked up more material here, but I just couldn't see it. A bit of a disappointment, to be honest.

September 2, 2019 - Similar to prior bottles. A bit of funk on the nose, which then resolves to berry notes. A touch more fruit forward on the palate with dark berry flavors featuring more prominently than I recall from the prior bottles.

June 8, 2019 - Lots of complexity on the nose- black fruit, cherry, herbs. Similar to my last bottle but showed a bit less structure and didn’t hold up as well to a NY Strip. Seems to be in its drinking window now, so drink up!
