June 8, 2019 - Lots of complexity on the nose- black fruit, cherry, herbs. Similar to my last bottle but showed a bit less structure and didn’t hold up as well to a NY Strip. Seems to be in its drinking window now, so drink up!

May 30, 2019 - Good burg. Drink now. Little bit funky on open and got better - then declined....but came back strong and got better again. Dont see this being better in 2026 as drinking dates suggests.

February 16, 2019 - Loved this tonight with Nita's chicken and mushroom Dijon sandwiches! PnP a good 2 hours prior to dinner. First sips promising, nose had a little reduction upon opening but cleared off fairly quickly. So slow oxed it in glass & btl where it unfolded quite nicely. This is one of those 2007s that drinks more like its 20yrs old which is a good thing. Nearly fully resolved at this point but likely to hold for at least another 5. My btl showed a little more cork soak then expected but I bought it after release and didn't bother to cellar this one in my temp controlled cabinet since I planned to get to it soon. Color is a mature semi translucent ambered red color. Nose shows lovely underbrush, spice and berries. Palate is a docile but fresh and charming wine menagerie of; cherry, red raspberry, mushroom, mineral, spice and forest floor. Weightless & ethereal for NSG. Delightful and very satisfying. 93pts+ Alc 13.5%

February 10, 2019 - PNP. Better with 30-60 minutes of air, but reasonable on open. Tart cherry fruit, some secondaries starting to show on the nose, but still young and at the very beginning of its window. This is a little thin in the middle right now, and a bit too tart and acidic on the finish vs. say the 01 and 02 which are better right now. Maybe wait another year and try again. A-
