January 10, 2015 - Classy, masculine wine. Ripe pure fruit on the nose with a touch of spice. Ditto on the palate. Good acidity. Finishes long with the spice recapitulating. Excellent, complete wine.

December 2, 2012 - Liked this out of the gates, not sure about how i feel about this one a few hours later. Clear garnet color. Soft red berry fruit aromas that over time evolved into a perfumey but edgy red fruit nose spiked with medicinal notes and heat. Initially, this was quite impressive with gentle Vosne fruit on the palate with the slightest spice accents. Over a few hours, this became somewhat acidic and lean, short on the midpalate, and finished a bit abrupt. Lovely during its first hour of life, a disappointment following. I don't think that I'll decant the next bottle I try. Decanted and consumed over three hours. First from a six pack.
