September 7, 2019 - Deep purple, tons of sediment, better decant. Blueberry, earth & leather. Plenty of fruit and firm tannins.

September 16, 2016 - Still a bit rough and chunky, but the dark fruit feels like it is starting to fade. This wine seems like it is in a perpetual state of confusion, but there are still enough quality elements here to keep it interesting and palatable.

December 4, 2015 - This wine continues to be a disappoint to me. Still a clunky and tannic cabernet that might not ever fully come together and display its underlying (but currently disjointed) potential.

August 31, 2015 - Overpriced for what it is, but still a perfectly acceptable wine. Blackberries dominate. The tannins are more than dusty, they are still a bit course and firm and I'm thinking that will not change before the fruit falls off. There is Oak, some black cherry some hard leather. Maybe this wine will smooth out and become more integrated in time, but I'm not sensing it.

May 19, 2013 - Wine seems to be fading already. The fruit is falling off and the still slightly rough tannins are left behind. American Oak but not too much, still the wine is not as good as it should be at this price point.

February 14, 2013 - Nice nose of ripe dark berries and some BBQ elements. The palate is a bit gritty and missing some power. Tasty fruit but not much else. Disappointing for the price.

January 12, 2013 - This wine started off with some nice dark fruits and firm tannins, but as the wine spent more time in the air, some astringent and over-Oaked elements started to appear and the wine's fruit faded without it getting smoother. It appears I was wrong about this wine's ability to age. I should have finished these off sooner.

October 5, 2012 - The tannins have softened and there is still plenty of fresh fruit. Looking forward to the next bottle. With cheese and veges and no meat!
