October 8, 2020 - Deep ruby color. Intense nose of mixed berries: black cherry, cranberry, strawberry; and a smoky earthiness. Medium bodied on the palate and a touch thin compared with the nose. Fine, slightly dry tannins on the finish.

May 9, 2020 - Medium garnet in color. Notes of cherry, cranberry, sandalwood and raw cedar on the nose. Dry on the palate, medium plus acidity. Medium tannins with a dusty texture. Medium alcohol. It clocks in at 13.3%. Acidity is more prominent towards the end. Notes of mushroom, soy sauce and oyster sauce on the palate. There's some oak but it is well integrated. This can definitely fool you for a riper vintage Burgundy. Like a 2009 Beaune premier cru. Long finish. First time drinking this producer. Love it.

February 29, 2020 - Opened for an hour with a glass poured off. Nice development over 4 hours. Everything became more integrated over time. Nice at all stages. By 2022-3 sounds good go for last two.

January 15, 2020 - In a nice place tonight. Bit tight on opening but within 30 mins and warming, it blossomed nicely. Nose somewhat muted however but acids restrained and fruit sublime. Dusty cherry, faint kirsch, long complex finish with touch sour cherry. Worth the 12 year wait.

January 4, 2020 - This is maybe too old or something but it’s definitely thin and not how Alpines are now
