June 27, 2012 - Drank over a few days with no notes. Best on day one. Robust stuff, rich with fruit and ample spice. Pepper, smoke. A good one, and I don't recall spending much for it in PA.

May 9, 2012 - A very meaty wine. Full body with blackberry, blueberry, beef jerky, and bacon fat. Luscious on the palate with a long sweet tannin filled finish.

December 14, 2011 - very dark purple in color; bold, peppery, dark fruit, almost smokey nose, excellent tannin that filled the mouth, very long finish.

December 14, 2011 - Still drinking very well. Showing dark berries, minerality, and herb. Tannins are starting to soften, but still gripping.
