  April 8, 2020 - This is number 5 of 6 bottles and the first one in about 7 years. This continues to get better and better. I see no signs of this fading at all. Black tea on the nose with hints of black cherry and some green herbs. The palate is explosive of black berries, black pepper, licorice (guess what color). Finish is very strong. Great balance with bright acidity and tannins that would make me think this is a 5-8 year old wine.

  June 13, 2018 - Second time drinking this one, may have sat a little too long on this second bottle. Weak nose, but getting a bit of black pepper, light roastyness, but no fruit. Great mouth feel, just coats the teeth. Black cherry, meaty, gets earthy on the finish. Still like it, but wish I drank it a year ago.
