November 5, 2023 - One hour decant and drank over 2 hours. This is still drinking well and in a good place. Nice red fruit with some cassis and spice. Enough acidity to keep this going for another few years.
Opened with an Durand and cork was perfect. Lots of sediment so strained into the decanter. -

July 20, 2023 - drank after a little over 1 hour in the decanter. Very fragrant nose with ripe fruits, lots of plum, cassis, a little smoke, and some grilled meats. After more than 1½ hours this was really fragrant and beautiful. Purchased at the winery in 2000.

December 18, 2022 - World Cup final BBQ: Vibrant red cherry fruit that got fuller and rounder with time in the glass. Quite a bit of sweetness but just about not overdone. No greenness at all to this, probably this was picked much riper than contemporary Napas of its time.

July 14, 2022 - Nese: Plommer, moreller, tobakk, blyantspiss og sigar. Munn: Moreller, tobakk, blomster, tørket frukt. Utrolig lekker balanse og lengde. Vanvittig flott vin. Kombinasjonen av friskhet, kons og struktur er helt i toppklasse. Svært lang! (Mange toppårganger i Bordeaux ble nevt, men når vi fikk servert 1993 var dette åpenbar US. Produsent var det ingen som nailet. Dunn, Opus, Myacamas ble nevnt, men nei. Fasit: Beringer Private reserve 1993. Utrolig flott vin, og veldig utypsik Beringer. 14,5 alkohol, og balanse i særklasse. 95 poeng lett!!
