September 2, 2018 - Earthy, autumn impressions, a firm amount of sweetness in the nose. On the palate sweet spices, ripe red bell pepper, beautiful acidity and some pleasant sweetness. Beautiful wine in its young maturity stage.

April 20, 2018 - A nice evening with good friends (@ PZ): Ripe dark berries, full bodied, ripe fruits, good acidity and round tannin. Elegant and luxurious wine.

February 13, 2013 - One of the best bottles of the year. Very low key for a 96. The oak has settled down the fruit is lovely black, purple fruit and the nose is beautifully floral. Will get better in 5 years.

January 10, 2011 - Oops! I should have known better and packed this up with the rest of the wines that taste like this. Add this to the list of wines that have fruit that is over-ripened, oak that originates in hell, flabby, disjointed and otherwise awful- to me. List of wines that taste exactly the same: 2007 Passionment, 2005 Pape Clement, 2003 & 2004 Quilceda Creek, 2005 Cos, 2003 Bond Melbery, 2007 Jonata el Alma, and 2007 Les Pavots.

BTW, Julie liked the wine much more than I and would give it a 90 fwiw.
