October 6, 2011 - Wonderful color of straw and sunlight. Nice acidity with green apple, lemon, and river stones on the palate. Very focused and elegant. More like a White Burg than a typical CA Chard. Will probably get even better over the next two years.

January 19, 2011 - Straw color. Wonderfully pure nose of green apple, meyer lemon and stone. Also vaguely floral. Gorgeous zingy lemon and vibrant acidity on the palate. It feels layered, and I'm sure there could be other descriptors, but it's all fleeting. Lovely chardonnay, the sense of oakiness (it was aged in older oak barrels) is now totally absent. Excellent.

May 16, 2010 - Fermentation restarted in bottle. Lots of autolytic flavors. (Editor's note: scored as 71 but marking as flawed)

October 27, 2009 - Appealing golden straw color. Nose of minerals, honeysuckle, citrus and a very light touch of vanilla. Palate of zingy lemon citrus and stones with a slight buttery texture. The verjus component is very well integrated. Very good.
