February 26, 2023 - Crimson in color with a little bricking at the edge of the glass. Soaring nose of red fruits, seaweed, garrigue and roasted herbs. Rich, concentrated and not remotely roasted or ripe. The purity of fruit is spellbinding and the balance is impeccable. Raspberry, kirsch, grenadine and a hint of pepper on the palate. The finish on the wine is exquisite. Old school, classic CdP from a vintage that many too quickly dismiss. Bravo! Best over the next 2-4 years.

September 16, 2020 - Crimson in color. 15% ABV. Sublime nose of red fruits, garrigue and ruby port. Medium body with nice acidity. Exceptional balance. Fresh and charming. Raspberry, kirsch liqueur, herbes de Provence and licorice on the palate. The finish is breathtaking. Brilliant wine that delivers a serious blow to conventional wisdom regarding the 2007 vintage. Just a stunner. Best over the next 3-5 years.

July 18, 2020 - Prune and camphor on the nose. On the palate, intense currant, blackberry, plum, and notes of anise, leather, and earth, with light tannins and good acidity on the long finish. This was an excellent value at just under $50. The Cellartracker drinking window looks about right - this is ready to drink.

April 27, 2015 - CDP? Uhhh, more like Amarone. Thick, rich, weighty, and sublime. Starting to show the slightest of age. Rich dark fruits, raisin, aged basalmic...this is not your typical CDP.

April 4, 2015 - starting to show bricking, it has picked up some weight,, the flavors of "pine needles and soy" is still as forward but is richer and more integrated. Classy, balanced, nice bottle.
