July 20, 2016 - Pretty phenomenal in the 1.5L bottle that we shared for a special birthday celebration. While this Lake William was quite smooth right upon opening and 5-10 minutes in the glass, after another two hours or so it softened further into an incredibly silky masterpiece. The Community had rated this as a 2013 end-date, but I've offered a 2024 date here. Perhaps that's a bit optimistic - but I can promise you somebody out there will open a 2004 that year and still find it to be quite the experience after 20 years.

June 7, 2015 - What an outstanding wine. The tannins have faded to the back but the tobacco, dark fruit and lavender remain front and center. This is ready to drink if you have any.

May 31, 2013 - Softening up well. Started a little cold, but really opened up nicely w/ soft cocoa, dark fruit flavors.
