  March 26, 2017 - Amazingly, this still tastes young and primary. It has the acidity and tannins to go for years. I wish I'd known of this wine years ago, I'd have bought a case.

  March 14, 2017 - Spoiler alert! this is fantastic at 11-12 years old; beautiful nose, ripe strawberry and dark cherry fruit on the palate and really wonderful tertiary flavors; really happy to be drinking this; last of 6 bottles bought back in 2011.

  December 23, 2015 - This has held up well enough. Always a solid wine, for the $13 I paid, this is still drinking nicely at 10 years. Still, I probably won't go for 20.

  November 25, 2015 - Surprise, i was actually able to hold this for 4 more years after the last bottle. Color is migrating towards a lighter maroon but still fairly opaque with burnt edges. Cherry and blackberry fruit aromas and dried brush. Palate is delicious black fruit, light pepper, charcoal, medium acidity, and a bite on he backend. Tannins have significantly soften over these years. Medium finish.

  September 10, 2015 - Nice wine. Earth and lots of black and blue fruit on the nose. Blackberry, tobacco, leather, and herbal notes on the palate. A bit past prime for my palate, but enjoyable nonetheless.
