August 2, 2018 - fruit on entry. not huge structure. I have always thought BB produces consistent great stuff at a totally reasonable price.
January 23, 2016 - My only bottle, but I expect this to last quite a bit longer. Still a bit fruit forward, with some nice acidity and spice to keep it going. Very tasty now, but no hurry.
May 6, 2013 - I'll give it a 90 because I think it was very well made, but when I asked myself if I would buy again, no. I've tried to give Pinot's a shot, but just prefer other reds. cabs/zins/priorat/ Tuscany, just my preference.
March 23, 2012 - Santa Cruz Mountains Day 2 (Rhys, Big Basin, Plumed Horse): Tasted non blind at their tasting room. Nose of tea and floral with more of the same on the palate along with some spicy notes. Nice length on the finish. Seems to be in a good place. Drink or hold.

Nose - heavy, persimmon, cassis, tangello, smoke and black cherry.
Lighter than expected from the nose. Rich, raspberry, graphite, red plum and smoke. Wait til late 1010. 91+
