January 24, 2022 - This is a barometer of your Burgundy palate. If you don’t enjoy this, you might as well save your money and drink cali pinots. Exactly what jamesAbdavis said, with perhaps a tad more emphasis on finesse and overall seamlessness… it’s zen in a glass. I disagree with james in that there is abundant cherry and blueberry fruit to harmonize with sous-bois, a beautiful mineral streak and a hint of coffee grinds. Truly very special, in this specific time, to open this wine. I would open them all because why miss out on perfection of a village expression.

Lovely crystalline fruit on the palate. Lean and elegant in the style of the vintage. Lovely lift on the finish. Absolutely a point.
A little bit of a sense that the fruit is hanging off the acidic structure here so it’s time to drink but this is nonetheless superb. -

October 8, 2020 - Drinking in peak form with 1er cru weight and plenty of Gevrey nuance and complexity. Classic and true to terroir and vintage.
