January 16, 2014 - medium straw, in color. lime peel, lemon, floral, sweet, hard candy, wet straw, mineral, on the nose. high acid, on the finish.

November 23, 2012 - Golden straw and a little cloudy. Toasted oak and butter aromas. Not fading in any way. Some oak and searing lemon on the palate. Juicy with nice acidity, balanced, but lacking complexity I expected.
November 13, 2012 - Cork was not in good condition and the wine was a bit oxidized and not at all like the other 2001 Vine Hills that we have consumed over the last year or so.
July 14, 2012 - Still a very good California chardonnay. No signs of oxidation.
